It is to stop people parellel-importing the products which affects all the existing stockists in the region. For your information, there is a Local Celebrity distributor in Japan.

Wrong again. They have exclusive distributor in place, hence the buyer in the region have to buy from the distributor. And the distributor has to make a profit for all the sales and distribution work.

The prices alone would not stop people buying directly from US. If Local Celebrity has an One price policy – same price for the whole world. The price will need to be at around US$35.00.

The bottom line is you don’t like it, don’t buy it.

    LOL

As you may guess what my day job is.

Honestly I can share your feeling from a consumer perspective. Many US brands are far more expensive outside US – Levis, Abercrombie and Fitch are classic examples.

I guess it is better for LC to charge different prices for the tees in different countries than adding such a ridiculous delivery charge.

    Have a nice day.

Please comment with your real name using good manners.
