Playing Card T-Shirts at Headline Shirts

Headline Shirts have been slowly releasing their new collection of playing card t-shirts. They are pretty cool and perhaps they have been done before to some extent but I doubt they have been done this well. For someone who plays cards I think the whole set would make a pretty cool gift for the upcoming holidays.

The cards featured JFK (John F. Kennedy) as Jack…naturally and Freddie Mercury as Queen. So far so good. King Kong is the King and Amelia Earhart is the Ace which is the cleverest of all the designs in my opinion.

The set was completed with the Joker which is a tribute to the Full Metal Jacket. I’m kind of glad they didn’t go the Batman direction and chose this more obscure option but I imagine few young people will get it and hope for the opposite.

    Actually the Joker is a reference to Full Metal Jacket and Matthew Modine’s character, Private Joker, not M.A.S.H.
