Cafepress have expanded their line once more with their priciest item yet – a digital camcorder. When I first saw it this morning CrunchGear I didn’t have time to read the article and I just assumed it was just the cover they were selling but no, they are allowing us shopkeepers to sell these items with a base price of $169 in our stores. Of course the first thing I thought of was that the volume bonus would be nice but it is not eligible.
To be honest I had never heard of Flip Mino before and didn’t think I would be all that interested as I can record some video on my mobile phone and the quality is decent but after checking out the Flip Video web site I have to admit to being impressed. It does seem to make things very simple with regards to putting your video onto your hard drive, sending it as an email attachment or uploading to youtube.
It’s good to see Cafepress coming out with something new too after Zazzle came out with the double whammy of skateboards and Keds shoes not so long ago. I think also that Cafepress are realizing that bigger is better and are displaying our products much larger than before. It has thrown quite a few of my product pages out of wack though but I am sure that they will iron out the wrinkles soon enough. They have also added a sleek new Browse More Products panel to our products page and to make it even better they have given us the ability to show or hide it. Thanks Cafepress. I love choices and I choose to show this baby. Learn more.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that to celebrate the tie up between Flip Video and Cafepress Cafepress are holding a design contest where you can actually win a Flip Mino only if you are a resident of the United States though. Boo!
*Feel free to add links to your Flip Mino products in the forum but not in the comments below. We would love to see what you come up with.
This does not have me excited as much as when Zazzle introduced the Keds shoes and the skateboards. Plus, being a non-U.S. resident like you, once again we are shut out of the contest. Double boo! Zazzle comes out on top for affordability and practicality on this subject.
And another thing that really should come as no surprise is that these items are only available for sale in the US.
saw you had a post a while back with a weird world record in most tshirts worn at once.
