The graniph design award dates have been announced as well as a few more details.  The tops prize of 500,000 yen is about US$6,5000 at today’s exchange rate. Here is a copy and paste:

Feb. 1 – Mar. 31 2012

Eligibility
Open to everyone!

Awards & Prizes
・Gold (1): 500,000 yen + production/sale of design by graniph
・Silver (5): 100,000 yen + production/sale of design by graniph
・Student (1): 100,000 yen + production/sale of design by graniph
・Partner Award (5): 50,000 yen + product/sale of design by graniph

Submission 
Online submission only. More details to be provided closer to submission period.

Announcement 
Winners will be announced May 1 2012 on graniph.com
