I hadn’t heard about MASScanvas before but it is a pretty cool site and I will try to keep you up to date with their activities in the future. It is a t-shirt design contest site with a difference. I would explain it to you but their About Page sums it up neatly. Here is a copy and paste:

MASScanvas: Inspired Tees. Every month, our community of artists, fans, and T-shirt lovers unite in a T-shirt Design Contest to create and select the best Limited Edition Art on Fashion. Each contest is inspired by a famous artist and unique theme whose Limited-Edition winning tees are sold in support of a featured charitable cause.

Pete Wentz

This month, the famous artist is Pete Wentz. He chose the theme power, and he will select 5 winning designs from the submissions to be sold in the store. You can watch him talk about it in the following video.

Five winners will each receive $1000 each, their designs will be sold on t-shirts. 20% of the proceeds from those tees will go to the charity Invisible Children. It’s a good day for all.
