This post has got nothing to do with t-shirts but I thought that this new site was worth mentioning. This seems to be quite a new site and if I am not mistaken was only launched in June. RYZ have taken the Threadless model and applied it to shoes. Yes, that’s right. They are giving big prizes for designs for shoes. I previously mentioned the Dr. Martens design contest so those of you who enjoyed designing for that will surely enjoy designing for this company. It looks like you can design all over the shoe including the sole.

There are currently 83 designs although it appears that some designers have been quite prolific which means there is not a huge amount of variety. So far I am not all that impressed by the submitted designs but the one below caught my eye. The submissions should improve as word gets around though. The winners get $1000 and $1 per pair sold. Nice prize money. That should attract some talent.
