I was simply going to name this post Threadless Good T-Shirts. I know. That title might have made you wonder. Good is not usually the word to describe Threadless tees. I think the official word is awesome. Awesome shirts at Threadless would certainly have more impact but the thing is there is a particular reason for this title and that reason is that Threadless have released a series of tees that are for a good cause. That cause is to support the children in need in the Horn of Africa. Isn’t that awsome.
The tees may be expensive (not all of them) but Threadless doesn’t make a dime. The cash all goes to U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Basically what happens is, you check out the tees they have on offer and the names of them tell you where the money goes. There is further explanation on each page too. They are all designed by Christine and Justin Gignac.
The most expensive t-shirt costs $300,ooo and it pays for a cargo flight for UNICEF. The cheapest is $18.57 and it pays for Insecticide Treated Mosquito Nets for UNICEF. There are a whole range of tees and tee prices in between so you can easily pick out a tee corresponding to the amount you would like to donate. Very good.
Check them out at Threadless.
