Threadless are awesome. There is no doubt about that. They are cool company that are doing great things and the fact is that the $22 that they are now charging for most of their tees is pretty reasonable. I say that $22 is what they are now charging because they recently seemed to bump up the price from $2o without any explanation that I know of. Of course it is probably the same reason as the recent bump from $18 to $20 as detailed in this blog post.

The price of cotton continues to be on an upward spiral of craziness. Cotton is scarce, and thus more expensive. Thus, more price increases for us and you. We’re bummed to have to do this again, but there is good news! 1. We’re making it as affordable as we can for you, by raising our tee price to just barely cover the cost of this increase 2. We’re keeping some of our simpler designed, one color tees at $18, weeee!

Anyway, for those of you who don’t want to pay the full price or who can’t afford to, you are in luck. Threadless are holding a sale where all tees are just $12 in conjunction with their Camp Wananatee shinding. The sale is from Monday May 16th 10am through Wed 10am May 18th. Threadless have a habit of extending their sales but they didn’t last time if I remember correctly and they might not this time either so I wouldn’t leave it until the last moment to purchase a tee if I were you. Of course you should have a good luck around to see if there is anything you like but they always release new tees at the same time as launching the sale too.
