A friend of mine and owner of Origin of Cool, David Lowe, started a Kickstarter project recently to create awesome custom ping-pong paddles. The hope is that at first these paddles that you see in the pic above and more on the Kickstarter website would be produced and then later people would be able to add their own designs.

There is a pretty good selection at the moment and custom paddles are pretty rare so yours would surely stand out if you purchased one.

I know they are not t-shirts but actually some of the pledges reward you with t-shirts with the same designs as the paddles! Nice. Most of the artists are from Austin where David has recently move.

Anyway, check it out and if you are a ping-pong nut, do yourself a favor and make a pledge!
